Royal University of Law and Economics Address

The university has four faculties, two graduate schools and a centre that teaches law, economics and economics. The University is a public institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. RULE was founded in 1949 as the National Institute of Law, Politics and Economics. In 2003, the institution was officially recognized as a university. RULE is the first university in Cambodia. It was founded in 1948 as the National Institute of Law, Politics and Economics. In 1957, the institute became a faculty by royal decree. In 2003, the Faculty of Law and Economics was reorganized as a university under the name Royal University of Law and Economics. Other social and natural science disciplines such as language and computer science have been added to the curriculum. The education level system was divided into semesters, with eight semesters over a four-year period for the bachelor`s degree program. In July 2003, it became the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) with 4 faculties: Law, Economics, Accounting and Management, Currency and Finance, Economics and Computer Science and Public Administration. RULE offers dual degrees in economics, management, and law among graduates and graduates: In the past, the Department of Economics was the main branch of the Institute of Economics. The Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in Cambodia.

[2] In 2003, 4,800 students studied in the four faculties, including 1,478 female students. The newly created doctoral schools offer space for 507 doctoral students. There are 84 full-time guest lecturers and 112 Cambodian lecturers and 70 foreign lecturers who lecture as part of the academic exchange programmes. After obtaining his master`s degree in business administration and economics at the Université Lumière Lyon 2 in France, he was a business and human resources practitioner in foreign investment promotion, business development, job creation and human resource development in Cambodia. He has worked for several European companies and institutions, including Total, the France Embassy and Decathlon. Currently, he is also Chair of EuroCham`s Human Resources Committee, Senior Advisor and Board Member in the business and human resources sector in Cambodia. RULE`s 2 Research Centres in Economics and Management (CUREG) and Law (CREAD) provide their expertise on request. They have worked with the World Bank, the EU and the French embassy, among others.

Since its foundation, the faculty has been strongly supported by French cooperation. The Faculty pursues an active policy aimed at developing human resources and constantly improving the quality of education to meet Cambodia`s economic and social needs. When the Institute was dissolved in 1994, the Department of Economics merged with the Faculty of Law to form the Phnom Penh Faculty of Law and Economics.
