I used LegalZoom to get a name change. The state of Tennessee changed my name, so I had to go through LegalZoom. They got all the documents so I could do it. For something technical, I don`t know about it, but they sent step by step on every little thing I needed to do. If I need a lawyer for anything, they will do the heavy lifting. I am a truck driver. If something happens and I say, «Hey, I need a lawyer to help me deal with this ticket,» they`ll do the hardest part. They would say, «Where did you get that ticket? Where did you do that? I will discover everything. It wouldn`t be like a back and forth and I would have to work more. There would be only 170. That is very reasonable. ✖ LegalZoom`s ordering process has a seemingly endless string of upsells.
Before you can reach the package selection screen, you`ll upsell their registered agent service, EIN acquisition, commercial license search package, corporate tax software, legal subscription service, and compliance support. If you were to accept all these upsells, you`d be hooked for a whopping $1,080 — and that doesn`t even include the cost of your actual state registration fees. LegalZoom also offers prepaid legal plans that include a 30-minute consultation with a lawyer for professional or personal needs. These legal plans, the Business Advisory Plan and Legal Advantage Plus, are offered on a six-month or one-year basis with a monthly subscription fee. What LegalZoom has put in place is pretty ideal. I plan to make further changes in the future. I`m waiting to see how this business is doing and if it`s a successful business, I intend to go back to LegalZoom and take a few more steps with them. Not only was I quite satisfied with the process they produced and the services, but also in that I had in mind to use them again for other things I wanted to do with the company. When I add my wife as an equal partner, I know it`s been offered, and that`s something they can help me with. If we take that step, I will certainly come back to it. I am very happy with what they offer.

What I find is that some of these pages and websites get a little overwhelming when you`re trying to figure out the best way to navigate, and what are all the options, especially if you`re dealing with something that might be quite intense, like a legal issue. It`s not just LegalZoom, it`s a lot of websites that are just trying to figure out how to navigate the site and get the right people or links. But eventually, I find out.
